Our Ultimate Starflower Oil uses GLA to help with PMS and also maintains healthy hair, nails and skin. Gamma linolenic acid GLA is used in the production of hormone like chemicals in the body called prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are involved in the control of a number of biological processes including hormone balance. Up to 23% of the fatty acids from Borage Oil Borago officinalis otherwise known as Starflower Oil are Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) making it more than twice the strength of Evening Primrose Oil.
Directions: Take one a day with water before bedtime.
