Christy’s heritage stretches back over 150 years to 1850, when founder Henry Christy visited the Palace of the Sultan in Constantinople, bringing back with him a sample of fabric not yet known in the western world. His brother quickly managed to reproduce the loop pile fabric, and production of terry towelling began.

Originally famous for their luxury bathroom towels, Christy’s expertise and eye for detail remained constant when their business expanded into the bed linen market. Today the company is renowned for using only the finest cottons, softest fabrics and high thread counts, making the Christy name synonymous with great quality and luxury.
