Bedspreads - also known as throws - add the finishing touch to any bed, providing a daytime cover that can blend or contrast with the décor, even providing extra warmth if required. Traditional or modern, patterned or plain, they come in a wide range of styles, finishes and materials to suit every taste.
What to look for:
There are three basic styles to choose from:
Drape bedspreads: have curved corners, which fall neatly down the sides of the bed.
Tailored bedspreads: have flaps on each corner which box the bed in squarely.
Boxed Drape bedspreads: are a combination of the two above.
Other than that, it really is a question of personal taste and the style statement you want to make.
