We will deliver to the address specified by you on the completed order form. Please note that we deliver within the United Kingdom Mainland only. For other areas such as:

  • Offshore islands
  • Northern Ireland
  • Channel Islands
  • Eire

I need my order quickly, what delivery services do you offer? Back to top

We offer two fast delivery options:

NextDay Delivery £9.95
Order by telephone before midday and your order will be despatched the same day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Express Delivery £7.95
Order before midday for next day despatch - item would be delivered on the third working day, (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

My order hasn't arrived yet, is there a problem with it? Back to top

If your order has not arrived within the time specified, or you have a question regarding your order contact Jane on 0845 166 4274 or e-mail her at customersercare@lifestylesathome.co.uk for more help.


Can I specify a day or time for delivery? Back to top

No, not with Standard Delivery. However, if you opt for NextDay Delivery or Express Delivery, you can normally choose a specific delivery date.


Do I have to sign for my parcel? Back to top

No, not with Standard Delivery. However, if you opt for NextDay Delivery or Express Delivery, a signature will be required.


What if I am out when the courier tries to deliver? Back to top

Unless you tell us otherwise, they will leave a note explaining that they tried to deliver your parcel and what will happen next.


Can I send my parcel to a different address? Back to top

Yes - simply add the alternative address details at the checkout.


Can I have my items from the same order delivered to more than one address? Back to top

No, you can only get them sent to one address. However, you can always do multiple orders with different addresses for each (Please note: you will be required to pay delivery charges for each order).


If part of my order is out of stock, do I have to pay an extra delivery charge when it is sent to me? Back to top

No - If a product is out of stock, we won't charge you any extra for delivery once it comes back into stock.


How will you let me know what's happening to my order? Back to top

We'll do this in two ways:

  • We will acknowledge all orders by telephone or e-mail.
  • We will advise you by telephone or e-mail when your order is despatched.

In the unlikely event that there is any delay, we will advise you accordingly.


Can I order from overseas? Back to top

Yes, although we only currently accept online payment from cards issued by UK banks. Please contact us if you'd like to place an order but have a card issued by a non-UK bank.


Can I have an order delivered overseas? Back to top

If you require an order to be delivered to an overseas address please contact us on 0845 166 4274, or e-mail the Customer Care team to make arrangements.

Returns

I've received the wrong item, what should I do? Back to top

If we have sent you the wrong product and you wish to return it, please contact LifestylesatHome in advance and we will refund your cost of returning the Product. Otherwise you will be responsible for those charges. Contact us on 0845 166 4274, or contact the Customer Care team if you need any help.


I've received my item but it's damaged, can I return it? Back to top

Of course, if in the unlikely event you receive something that is damaged or faulty contact the Customer Care team or call 0845 166 4274.


I've received my order but no longer want the item, can I return it? Back to top

Yes, we just ask you to pay for the postage to return an unwanted item. We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to do this, obtain a Post Office proof of posting or insurance to cover the value of the unwanted item as we cannot be held responsible for goods you despatch that are lost or damaged in transit.


Are there any items I can't return? Back to top

For reasons of hygiene, we cannot refund or exchange the following products unless they are faulty:

  • Duvets
  • Pillows
  • Mattress toppers
  • Mattress protectors

What is RRP? Back to top

RRP stands for Recommended Retail Price, this is the price that a company recommends we sell the item at. However, they can't force us to sell at this price. At Lifestylesathome we aim to offer you lower prices than the RRPs, so you can make real savings - sometimes up to 60%!

Do your products come with warranties? Back to top

Yes, we have a special Product Guarantee. All our products are fully guaranteed against faulty workmanship or materials. In certain cases we have negotiated extended guarantees with manufacturers. Please see individual product pages for details. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How can I pay for my order? Back to top

VISA, MasterCard or Maestro/Switch. We currently only accept credit and debit cards issued by a UK bank.


How do I know my details are safe when I order with you? Back to top

At LifestylesatHome we promise to make your online shopping experience 100% safe and secure. When you see the padlock symbol at the bottom of the browser you'll know that that only we can see your details and that they cannot be seen by any third party, thus ensuring absolute confidentiality. What is your policy on social issues and the environment? Back to top

We take a strong stance on social issues and are very concerned that everything we sell meets appropriate ethical and environmental standards.

What this means is that the products we sell may not be manufactured from materials that are endangered or protected; are manufactured in a manner which does not have a detrimental environmental impact; and that the people who make the goods are not being exploited and are properly paid.


How do you monitor your social issues and environmental policy? Back to top

We obtain ethical/environmental policy statements from suppliers where available and in the absence of this, obtain written confirmation that the products supplied meet ethical and environmental standards.

We ask all appropriate suppliers to sign an undertaking that confirms that the product(s) we sell have been purchased from manufacturers and/or their agents that recognise and adhere to the SA8000 (Social Accountability 8000) standards and that the product, the materials from which it is made, and its manufacturing processes meet all relevant, current environmental standards and legislation.


What is your policy on recycling electrical and electronic products? Back to top

Since 1 July 2007, the UK's Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations allow members of the public to deposit old electrical and electronic items at recycling sites across the UK, free of charge. To find your local site for recycling electrical goods, as well as other household items, visit www.recycle-more.co.uk


How will I know whether the new products I buy can be recycled? Back to top

All new electrical and electronic products sold now carry a 'crossed out wheelie bin' symbol telling you if a product is recyclable. You do not have to have purchased new electrical and electronic equipment to be able to recycle your old equipment.


Will LifestylesatHome collect my old electrical and electronic items? Back to top

No, unfortunately we are unable to collect old appliances. We do not have a legal obligation to do so and will instead be contributing to the funding of an alternative network of recycling points, the Distributor Take-Back (DTS) scheme, which is helping to develop a new UK recycling network for waste electrical products. Contact your local council or use the website above to locate your nearest recycling bank for WEEE.
