Le Creuset
Le Creuset solid, colourful cast iron cookware is famed the world over for its uncompromising quality and 'even' cooking performance.
The company was started by Armand Desaegher and Octave Aubecq, two Belgian industrialists, in 1925. They set up a foundry in Fresnoy-le-Grand in Aisne, France to produce high performance pots and pans that looked as good as they cooked. Used by leading chefs and domestic cooks ever since, they are available in a wide range of styles and colours and come with a 'cast iron' lifetime guarantee.
As well as cast iron cookware, Le Creuset also manufacture stoneware, stainless steel cookware and silicone bakeware. They are famous for Screwpull, the range of corkscrews and wine accessories.
