Kenwood
Kenwood is probably one of the most famous brands in the world and considered essential equipment for housewives and cooks in over 80 countries.
Started by eponymous Ken Wood and colleague Roger Laurence after the war, the company started by producing a toaster in 1947, followed by the A200 food mixer in 1950 - the forerunner of the Kenwood Chef.
The company is now owned by DeLonghi and apart from their legendary food mixer, produce a wide range of labour saving kitchen appliances including toasters, irons, water filters, scales and smoothie makers.
